Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon is bottled solely from one barrel hand-selected by Master Distillers Parker and Craig Beam, not from the mingling of many barrels, which is the practice for standard blended and Small Batch Bourbons. Like a fine wine, each bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon contains a date telling when it was put in oak and bottled, in addition to the exact serial number of the single barrel from which it was drawn. The elegant bottle is sealed with a cork stopper, finished in black wax and features a distinctive label that reflects the hand-crafted care that goes into the making of this Bourbon.
Bright copper color. Deep aromas of chocolate pecan turtles, cashew butter, olive, and brown spices follow though on a soft, supple entry to a dryish medium-to-full body with anise seed, pink peppercorn, and nutskin notes. Finishes with a creamy vanilla, talc, and peppery spice fade. A rich, elegant whisky.
