Dark raisin and dried apricot flavors manifest on this immensely dark, old gold hued wine. Enormous concentration, as with the initially, almost painful acidity that comes through the spirit. This is an old wine, no question, but not too old, one to be savored in sips with all the flavors working at high intensity.

This is only the second release of a Quinta do Seixo vintage from Sandeman, which has held the estate in its portfolio since 2007. It is distinguished by the fact that all the grapes come from this one property, in contrast to the house’s main vintage expression, which has not been declared this year.
