The rum is aged for 2 years and charcoal-filtered to remove color and impurities. The bouquet is pretty mellow, with a touch of sweetness and fruitiness, but nothing really dominates. It’s a simple, well-rounded aroma. An initial sip shows that it has surprisingly little burn, some sweetness and fruitiness on the finish.

Crystal clear in colour. The pungent aroma of arak is immediately apparent on the nose, giving this rum a fruity aroma reminiscent of freshly cut passion fruit. Tropical fruit flavours continue into the medium bodied spicy palate with Matcha green tea, grassy, herbal, fresh parsley flavours. Dry, grassy and white pepper lingering spicy finish.

100% Jamaican blend of column still rum from Clarendon and pot still rums from distilleries such as Hampden, Monymusk and New Yarmouth. All rums are unaged.
